My Omega collection

In the past years I have been able to build my own little Omega watch collection. As you can see I have a preference for the more robust Omega lines with a wrist presence of 38 - 42 mm in diameter. The Seamaster series is most represented in my collection. Two nice tuning fork f300hz chronometers, the SMP 300M 'Peter Blake' automatic and the famous calibre 1040 'Rogue Jedi'. The collection is completed by the Genève Dynamic handwinder and the more recent Speedmaster 'From Moon to Mars'. Recently an Omega Seamaster Megaquartz 32Hz was added.

As the 'Seamaster Professional 300M' was the first watch I spent a lot of hard earned money on, this piece will always be part of my collection. As will the brand Omega for their beautiful vintage watches and for having defined the watch industry as we know it today.

Books on Omega

When you are into the Omega brand, there is a lot more to collect than only their watches. A number of books have been published of which the books about the Omega Speedmaster are the most popular. Moonwatch Only is considered to be the collecter's guide for all Speedmaster fans. Recently a magnificent photo book came out called From Seamaster to Seamaster. Here you will be taken on a journey through the history of the Omega Seamaster series from 1938 until present day. A collection of stunning photographs tells it's longlasting story. Other Omega books I can recommend are The Master of Omega, Omega Highlights and Omega Sportswatches .
