This model, which measures your biorhythm, is a worthy representation of the roaring 70's. During this decade there was a huge interest in mankind and his well-being. Certina invested in a wristwatch with an ideal fit to the anatomy of the hand, the Certina Revelation, and in the Certina Biostar.

The Certina Biostar was produced from 1965 until 1974 and came in the following models and references:

Biorhythm cycles (Swoboda & Fliess)

Based on unproven scientific theory that one's life is affected by rhythmic biological cycles, Certina introduced their Biostar watch in 1965. It showed the physical, emotional and mental state you are in based on on your date of birth and the above mentioned biorhythm cycles.

As the idea of biorhythms lacked scientific proof, Certina was the only watch brand that issued a biometric watch. And they also decided to discontinue this model range in the mid 70's.
